Letter from the President - 1/31/2025

Hello Stars Nation!

There’s a lot happening around Stars Nation, and we have a big announcement along with several important updates to share. From new gear and sponsorship opportunities to scheduling and facility upgrades, here’s everything you need to know as we gear up for another great season!

This time of year, our facility is as busy as ever, with both high school and youth teams putting in the work. That means everyone needs to do their part—pick up after yourselves, toss any trash, and make sure loose baseballs get put away. We take a lot of pride in keeping this place in top shape, and it takes a team effort to make sure it stays that way. We’ve brought in some great new families and a strong group of coaches, and there’s a real buzz around Stars Nation right now. It’s an exciting time to be part of this program—let’s make sure we take care of our home so we can all get the most out of it.

Big news for Stars Nation! We’re making moves that will take our program to the next level. After several years of dedication to our athletes, Kip Steingart is moving on to new opportunities, and we sincerely thank him for his hard work and commitment to our program. We wish him nothing but success in his next chapter.

Moving forward, we’re repurposing that space to provide even more room for baseball training—every inch of our facility should be dedicated to the game. But that’s not all. We’re thrilled to announce a new partnership with Tactic Sports Performance, a top-tier training facility located right next door to our Stars training center, at 353 Enterprise Pkwy. This partnership is all about giving our athletes every edge—strength, speed, agility, and power—so they can compete at the highest level. Stars players will have access to exclusive training packages, team training opportunities, and specialized camps, from youth levels all the way up through high school.

To kick things off, join us for an OPEN HOUSE on Monday, February 10th from 7-8 PM. Meet the Tactic Sports Performance coaching staff, tour their 9,500 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility, and see firsthand how this partnership is going to raise the bar for our athletes. This is a big step forward for Stars Nation—don’t miss it!

OTHER IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS:

STARS GEAR: We have new fan store for Youth and HS. Go here to see all the new gear that will ship directly to you. Visit the new Fan Gear store!

SPONSORSHIPS: As a reminder, we offer a great sponsorship program. This can be used to offset player fees or help cover costs of an out of town tournament. Even if you are paid in full, we can credit you back for a sponsorship you bring in at any time during the season. We are also a 501(c)3 so donations are tax deductible. UNIFORMS: Information will be coming out very shortly. We have a new company this year. You will do your sizing and ordering online and it will ship directly to you. Keep an eye out for a special announcement on this within the next week or two.

PICTURE DAY: For Youth is on 4/6. More information to follow but hold the date for now.

SCHEDULING: Youth coaches are starting to do their schedules now. Coaches should be reaching out to the teams in the next week or so with your schedule for the season. Please remember nobody can go on the field until they get the all clear from us usually mid April at the earliest.

LIGHTS: We are getting new lights at the facility. We know it has been very dark in there and this is being addressed in the next week or so.

FUNDRAISER: All youth teams should be working on their fundraising requirement. Please talk to your team parent about information on this if you are not aware of it. As a reminder, all money raised from this goes directly back to the facility for equipment or in this case whatever cages/training areas we add with our new space.
